Obre Lake Lodge
Obre Lake Lodge is located at the head of the world famous Kazan River system. From our lodge on Obre Lake you will fish five different lakes, including world renowned Snowbird and Atzingr. In addition, we keep boats and motors on two walk in lakes off the northeast shore of Obre called Brim and Barr. With two sets of easily navigable rapids within fifteen minutes of the lodge on Obre Lake, guests can fish for Grayling, Pike and Trout on the surface in fast water with spinning tackle or fly rods in the evening. We believe our variety of options makes for the finest fishing package available for trophy fishing.
We do not have a bell for breakfast or dinner. Normal hours are 7 to 9 AM for breakfast and 6 to 8 PM for dinner. If you come in later, there will be a meal waiting. If the fish are biting - keep fishing, you will not miss dinner. Our meals are basic with the highest quality food available including meat, potatoes, pasta, vegetables, salads, home made bread and desserts. This is your trip and we want to accommodate you.
The cabins at Obre Lake Lodge have a full bathroom with showers. The generator runs 24 hours and we use propane furnaces for heat. Each cabin has a refridgerator to keep our beverages cold and the lodge has a full service bar.
Guides are optional and may be shared. If you fish elsewhere without a guide, you will not require one at Obre. Maps and GPS coordinates are available.
Each motor is equipped with a rock hopper to help protect the prop and lower unit. This will not stop all damage but it greatly reduces the damage. Care must be taken to avoid hitting bottom and/or rocks. The boats at Obre are 16.5ft with spring loaded swivel seats, life jackets, paddles, fish dracles, foam platforms and 20 or 25HP Mercury motors.
The lodge has a small tackle shop with loaner equipment. Pay for what you loose or break. Obre Lodge also can provide day fly outs to near by lakes and/or overnight to mini lodges.
